The above article shows how massive Twitter traffic really is, and how fast people get access to news nowadays.
Pretty amazing, huh?
I guess to be a public figure, all the more you need to be wary of the things you do, because one small action can escalate into the biggest news on the Internet. This shows the evolution of media as well; traditional media would never have been able to disseminate news as fast I reckon.
The Tweet bird flies fast, extremely fast.
hahahahaha. twitter has brought out the bimbo/chill-ax side of celebrities. they even had top ten funniest/dumbest tweets by celebrities of the year i think. to be honest, it’s rather entertaining XD
yes. even soccer stars have twitter accounts. i’m guilty of following a couple of them too. haha. and they have like 500k to 1 million followers. just shows the significance of twitter nowadays.
Twitter is part of the new media paradigm, where user engagement is of paramount importance as well as to fully effectuate the ideology of social media. Good read 🙂
haha well, social media itself = user engagement. it comes hand in hand. thanks for the comment!
